What You'll Be Doing
System Commissioning & Deployment
  • Build and implement lean commissioning processes to optimise project delivery.
  • Execute end-to-end commissioning of advanced AV systems
  • Perform pre-configuration of equipment for seamless onsite installation
Programming & Technical Implementation
  • Prepare, program, and deploy Q-SYS design files
  • Conduct DSP programming, tuning, and system optimisation
  • Coordinate with IT teams and programmers on network requirements and system integration
Client Relations & Support
  • Lead client handovers and provide clear, confident system training
  • Respond to service calls and offer ongoing technical support to clients and field techs
  • Deliver outstanding service through effective communication and fast problem resolution
Project Coordination
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Build and oversee AV rack builds to meet project standards
  • Maintain and communicate accurate project schedules
Future Growth Opportunities
Process Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify improvements to system designs and delivery workflows
  • Contribute to developing best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Help innovate and enhance project delivery methods
Leadership & Development
  • Mentor and upskill junior technicians
  • Work toward leading a commissioning team
  • Provide guidance in Q-SYS, DSP, and advanced AV technologies
  • Become a technical reference point within the broader team
What You Bring
  • Strong experience in AV commissioning, DSP programming, or advanced technical AV roles
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in AV commissioning or DSP programming
  • Familiarity with Q-SYS or similar platforms (Q-SYS experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A passion for creating reliable, high-performance AV systems
  • Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
  • A valid Working with Children Check and Australian security clearances will be required.
