Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sydney, NSW, for a Commissioning Technician. In this role, you will perform on-site commissioning of mechanical systems for various projects, ensuring that installations meet project specifications and operational standards. Responsibilities include testing and troubleshooting systems, documenting test results, collaborating with project teams to address issues, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and safety guidelines. You will play a critical role in ensuring project success by validating system functionality and ensuring high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Current Drivers License

Proficiency in electrical and mechanical system commissioning, including testing, troubleshooting, and integration

Strong understanding of safety guidelines, compliance requirements, and industry standards

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and design plans
  • Effective communication skills for working with project teams, suppliers, and clients
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities to address technical challenges
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical or mechanical engineering or related fields
  • Experience in commissioning within the construction or contracting industry is advantageous
  • Proficiency in project management and time management skills is a plus
