, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Inside Sales Representative in our offices in Altona Melbourne.

With 1400 styles across more than 20 ranges, we design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Inside Sales Representative for Portwest, you will bring your commercial experience to sell Portwest products to distributors across Australia You will develop existing distribution channels in this fast-paced internal sales position. You should be able to work independently but also collaborate with the sales team to continue to build upon the company's success.
Among your key responsibilities will include:
- Identify opportunities to deepen customer relations.
- Develop existing customer relationships.
- Research new markets for development opportunities.
- Conduct competitor research.
- Providing price and quotes.
- Provide relevant and accurate information to customers.
- Help maintain customer loyalty to Portwest
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
To become an Inside Sales Representative with Portwest, you will need to have the following:
- 2+ years sales experience (PPE related an advantage but not necessary).
- Strong communication skills and be able to work well to deadlines.
- Good decision making skills and be customer focused.
- PC literate, strong reporting skills.
- Ability to multi-task and be a good problem solver
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
