Butcher Paull & Calder practices in both litigation and commercial law and has a long-standing presence in Western Australia.

This is a fantastic full-time opportunity in a CBD firm for a Junior Administration Assistant to join our friendly team.

The responsibilities of the role include:

·      Reception duties;

·      General administration including word processing, filing, scanning, printing;

·      Assisting our Legal Executive and administration staff;

·      Assisting our Solicitors;

·      Attending at Courts, banks, Office of State Revenue & Landgate;

·      Archiving (taking boxes to storage and retrieving);

·      Safe custody;

·      File opening, closing;

·      Lodgement of court documents via ecourts or comcourts;

·      Drafting, formatting and amending court documents;

·      Preparing briefs and disclosure/discovery;

·      Liaising with clients including answering calls;

·      Ordering office supplies.

We are looking for someone who has:

·      Experience with Affinity or similar database is preferred but not essential;

·      Excellent organisational and time management skills;

·      Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation;

·      Excellent written and oral communication skills;

·      Willingness to learn;

·      Ability to work well under pressure and assist with competing deadlines;

·      Strong document management skills.

If you are proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, are reliable, have a positive attitude and are eager to learn then this is an ideal entry role. Training will be provided to develop your skills.

Salary will be dependent on age/experience.
