Facilities and Security Project Manager

We are seeking a
Facilities and Security Project Manager
to support a major national program in the communications and networks domain. This role combines facilities project delivery with security planning and accreditation, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and independent decision-making.

What you'll do

  • Initiate and oversee facilities works delivered by engineering and infrastructure teams
  • Lead or participate in facilities working groups
  • Coordinate and contribute to security planning and accreditation activities
  • Prepare and deliver project planning documents
  • Perform project risk assessments and contribute to risk workshops
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align project outcomes
  • Deliver oral and written briefings to senior leadership on risks and issues

What we're looking for

  • Experience delivering or overseeing facilities works (engineering or infrastructure focus)
  • Background in physical and ICT security planning, management, and accreditation
  • Strong experience developing project planning documents
  • Understanding of security frameworks, compliance, and assurance processes
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of infrastructure or government facility processes is advantageous
  • Familiarity with communications technologies is beneficial

Qualifications

  • Highly desirable: Degree or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field
