As a Maintenance Electrician at JBS Australia Pty Limited, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Brooklyn, Victoria. This full-time position is responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services to ensure our production lines and equipment are running at optimal performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, control panels, and other electrical equipment
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults, and implementing corrective actions
  • Interpreting electrical drawings and schematics to identify and resolve issues
  • Conducting electrical safety inspections and implementing safety measures
  • Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

  • Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
