About the role

Vin Industrial Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. This is a full-time permanent role responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment in our industrial manufacturing facility. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of industrial equipment(FMCG machinery)
  2. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and tasks to identify and address potential issues before they cause disruptions
  3. Install new electrical equipment and infrastructure as required to support the growth and development of our manufacturing operations
  4. Liaise with other trades and maintenance personnel to coordinate work and ensure a safe work environment
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical work completed
  6. Comply with all relevant safety regulations and best practices
  7. Mechanical hand on experience and aptitude is an advantage.

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications as an Industrial Electrician, including a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience working as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or similar industrial setting
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve electrical faults
  4. Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control systems, and safety protocols
  5. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople
