THE ROLE

We are seeking a
Full Time Production Assistant
to join our production team based at our Newstead HQ. As a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Production team to ensure the seamless creation and delivery of high-quality fashion products. This role requires a combination of creativity, organisation, and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and multitasking skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help the Production Team execute tasks such as updating CAD's, helping to send fit comments, updating specs and doing comments
  • Attend fit sessions to help efficiency when needed
  • Work closely with other Production team members across tasks delegated and meeting deadlines and KPIs
  • Ensuring your email inbox is maintained and all emails are responded to in a timely manner
  • Maintain the general production area
  • Communicate any issues from factories to the Production team
  • Administration support; updating all platforms where needed to ensure all information is up to date
  • File and organize production documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility
  • Support in the preparation and tracking of sample requests and approvals
  • Assist in quality control checks, reviewing measurements, fabric quality, trims, and finishing details.
  • Assist in managing the production calendar, ensuring deadlines are met for sampling, fitting, and bulk production
  • Communicate daily with factories, suppliers, and logistics partners regarding order status, materials, and timelines
  • Help Production Manager in dealing with freight documents and XF's

ABOUT YOU:

  • 1–2 years' experience in fashion production (internship experience accepted).
  • Studied Fashion Design, Textile Development, or a related field and passionate about the fashion industry
  • Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and technical specs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft office / google apps
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving and optimising processes.
