Create content that drives purpose, impact and real-world change. We're looking for a versatile, creative Content Specialist to join our high-performing, collaborative team and bring the HESTA story to life across every channel. If you're a skilled content creator/writer who loves uncovering meaningful stories, shaping complex ideas into simple, engaging messages, and working in a purpose-led organisation – we would love to hear from you.

The role will be central to delivering our content strategy – creating content that connects with members, employers and partners in authentic and impactful ways. You'll switch seamlessly between creative storytelling, technical content, and campaign writing. You'll report to the Member and Employer Content Manager and collaborate across Brand & Marketing, as well as partner with various teams, stakeholders and external agencies to bring ideas to life.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, create and publish compelling content across diverse platforms – web, email, video, social, print, publications and reports
  • Partner with stakeholders across HESTA to develop and execute briefs for content to support strategic initiatives
  • Deliver fresh, persuasive multichannel campaign content, often through a behavioural finance lens
  • Champion quality through exceptional editing, proofreading and governance
  • Support the continued rollout and improvement of the HESTA content strategy.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in a similar multichannel Content Specialist role, ideally within superannuation and/or financial services
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills
  • Strong campaign content development experience across email, direct mail, multimedia and video (planning, scripting and production) – experience with podcasts a bonus
  • Confidence using CMS platforms (ideally Adobe Experience Manager), DAM systems and project management tools such as Monday or Atlassian
  • Ability to work effectively in regulated, compliance-driven environments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • A talent for simplifying technical concepts into clear, inclusive and impactful content
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline 
  • Additional editing or multimedia production skills are highly regarded.
