About the role:
We are looking for an ACT based medical equipment service technician, or someone working on electro-mechanical equipment with relevant transferrable skills. Perhaps you are a talented appliance repair technician, or someone from a similar field, looking to make the next step up and develop a rewarding career with a great global organisation?
Due to regional expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for someone with the right attitude, skills, knowledge, and experience, to join our service team and really make a difference. Our technicians work in the challenging and exciting world of healthcare infection control, where our products and services ultimately help our customers save lives and improve patient outcomes.
As a valued member of our Healthcare equipment service team, based out of Beard, you'll be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance servicing, on complex infection control machinery in hospitals, day surgeries and life science facilities located in the ACT and southern regional NSW. You'll report directly to the ACT Service Team Leader and form part of our small but vitally important ACT based team.
As well as service and maintenance responsibilities, we have major projects coming soon to the region, and you may additionally be involved in capital equipment installations, commissioning, and validation.

Ideally you will possess:
- Strong technical skills and a solution-based approach
- Experience of mechanics, electronics, electrical motors or industrial washers/washing machines or dishwashers.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, steam or pressure valves
- A restricted electrical license
- A positive "can do" attitude with great communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team
- A clear customer service focus
- Willingness to succeed.
- A clear understanding of what it means to "own the outcome"
