About Us:

We are a leading contractor delivering large-scale tunnelling and infrastructure projects across Australia. As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking experienced and reliable individuals with a strong background in Slurry Treatment Plant (STP) installation and setup and conveyor system assembly to join our project delivery team.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on site-based position focused on the construction, installation, and commissioning of slurry treatment plants used in tunnel boring operations. The successful candidate will be involved in assembling mechanical and process components, connecting systems, and ensuring that all plant elements are correctly installed and ready for operation.

The role will also involve the installation and alignment of conveyor systems used for slurry transport from the tunnel face.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and commission slurry treatment plant systems (including screens, cyclones, tanks, pumps, and pipelines).
  • Work from technical drawings, layouts, and specifications to build complete STP systems.
  • Install and align conveyor systems, support structures, and related mechanical components.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning of the system prior to operation.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in building or installing STP systems for tunnelling or large infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with mechanical installation and assembly, including pumps, piping, and steel structures.
  • Previous work with conveyor installation or maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of site safety and construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • White Card and relevant tickets/Trade Certificate/licenses preferred.
