Motivated salesperson with interior design or luxury product experience

A premium supplier of beautiful interior textiles is seeking a passionate and motivated sales professional to join their Sydney team.

This role would suit someone with 2-3 years' experience in A&D sales, who possesses a true 'hunter mindset' and thrives on building face-to-face relationships that lead to successful specifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business by being confident with picking up the phone, sending emails, and meeting new clients
  • Build and nurture robust relationships, specifically with Tier 1 & Tier 2 architects and designers
  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of commercial and residential clients
  • Visit clients on-site to present collections and provide expert design advice
  • Manage project and tender phases from initial engagement to finalisation, ensuring seamless project outcomes through close collaboration with our internal team
  • Provide exceptional design and customer service throughout the client journey

Skills and experience

  • Previous sales experience in a related or design-focused/luxury goods industry
  • Minimum of 2 years focused business development experience.
  • A 'hunter' attitudedriven, proactive, and target-focused
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential
  • Ability to manage complex project tender phases.
  • A genuine passion for interiors, design trends, and high-quality craftsmanship
