Delivery Lead

Purpose of the role:

We seek an experienced Delivery Lead to drive agile delivery in our insurance business. You will lead cross-functional teams, bridge business and technical specialists, and ensure timely, cutting-edge solutions that align with business goals. This role offers a chance to enhance agility and competitiveness in insurance technology.

The role

• Agile Leadership: Guide Agile teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Delivery Planning and Execution: Oversee planning and delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and Agile principles.
• Delivery Oversight: Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, maintaining Agile standards and quality.
• Team Empowerment: Enable teams to self-organize, make decisions, and perform optimally.
• Facilitation: Implement Scrum practices, including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Obstacle Removal: Address and resolve impediments affecting team progress.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with stakeholders to align on delivery requirements and priorities.
• Resource Management: Optimize productivity of team members, vendors, and consultants.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
• Continuous Improvement: Enhance delivery processes through feedback and metrics.
• Reporting and Metrics: Track and report delivery metrics and KPIs to senior management.

What experience you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead in Agile environments, ideally in insurance or financial services.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile transformations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid knowledge of technology delivery processes, including SDLC, DevOps, and release management.
• PMP, CSM, or similar certifications preferred.
