We are hiring a Studio Manager for Little Frankie's Tattoo Co. (Sydney CBD)

Little Frankie's Tattoo Co. isn't your typical tattoo studio.

We're a thriving creative space in the heart of Sydney CBD, home to a collective of artists, makers, and dreamers.

We're proudly aligned with the LGBTIQ+ and neurodiverse communities, and we're looking for a grounded Studio Manager to help lead our small admin team and keep our busy studio running smoothly.

About the Role:

As Studio Manager, you'll be the operational heartbeat of the studio, leading a small admin team who manage bookings, enquiries, and client communication.

You'll be responsible for ensuring our day-to-day systems run like clockwork, supporting our artists and admin staff to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced creative environment.

You'll occasionally step into customer-facing moments, but your focus will be on leadership, organisation, and process improvement- making sure the team stays aligned, productive, and happy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support the front-of-house / admin team
  • Oversee bookings, scheduling systems, and studio operations
  • Maintain clear communication between artists, staff, and clients
  • Identify ways to streamline processes and improve client experience
  • Oversee stock, supplies, and compliance procedures
  • Handle occasional escalations or client enquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Uphold the studio's inclusive, community-focused values
  • Process invoices, pay artists, liase with Stakeholders and Suppliers.

About You

You're a natural organiser with strong emotional intelligence and leadership experience.

You thrive in busy environments and know how to bring calm and structure to chaos. You value authenticity, kindness, and creativity, and you lead by example.

You'll have:

  • 3+ years in a management or operations role (creative, retail, or hospitality preferred)
  • Strong people management and conflict resolution skills
  • High computer literacy (booking systems, spreadsheets, basic software)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Emotional resilience, empathy, and life experience
  • A genuine respect for individuality, diversity, and community

Tattoo studio experience isn't required — we can teach you that.
