Are you passionate about customer service and creating a fun, welcoming environment for families? The City of Karratha is seeking an Indoor Play & Café Attendant to join our team on a part time fixed term basis until September 2026

About the role:

The Indoor Play & Café Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for families and children at the City of Karratha's Indoor Play Centre. This position combines customer service, hospitality, and facility upkeep, ensuring every visitor has a positive experience. From preparing and serving food and beverages in the café to managing party bookings (including exciting Laser Tag events), the attendant supports daily operations with energy and professionalism.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, manage entry fees, and process bookings (including Laser Tag parties).
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages while maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Ensure the play centre and café are clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.
  • Perform daily cash handling, banking, and basic administrative tasks, including stock control.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of children's parties and special events.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service (desirable).
  • Knowledge of food handling and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
