About the work unit / facility
Charters Towers Hospital is part of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service's Rural Allied Health Western Hub. Our pharmacy team delivers essential clinical services to inpatients, outpatients, and rehabilitation clients, while providing outreach support to Hughenden and Richmond Multipurpose Health Centres. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and make a meaningful impact on rural healthcare.

Competitive salary and benefits
- Salary between $3030.00–$ per fortnight (HP3–HP4).
- 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with % loading.
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity

You will work alongside a senior pharmacist and pharmacy assistants, providing clinical services to Charters Towers Hospital and outreach support to Hughenden and Richmond MPHS. The role combines patient care, medication management, and leadership development in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy and registration with AHPRA.
- Current C class driver's licence.
- Ability to travel by light aircraft and or road within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service may be necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.
- Evidence of vaccination or immunity for VPDs.
- A probationary period may apply.
