Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Townsville, QLD. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing patient consultations, providing medication therapy management, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Other responsibilities include educating patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, supervising pharmacy technicians and interns, maintaining medication inventory, and supporting overall pharmacy operations to ensure a high level of patient care.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, and medication management
  • Excellent patient care and consultation skills
  • Ability to educate patients on medication use and health promotion
  • Proficient in managing pharmacy operations and inventory
  • Attention to detail for compliance with health regulations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid pharmacist license to practice in Australia (no conditions)
  • Experience in a community pharmacy setting is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field
