An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior IT Support Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and enterprise infrastructure support. This role sits within a high-performing Microsoft Services Team, supporting a dynamic ICT environment that services a broad client base across government and corporate sectors.

This is a senior-level technical position offering a blend of hands-on support, strategic input, solution architecture, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced system administration services across Microsoft platforms in line with agreed service levels.
  • Provide expert technical input into solution proposals, tenders, and new business opportunities.
  • Take a lead technical role in projects including customer onboarding and infrastructure design.
  • Participate in workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and product development activities.
  • Identify and recommend infrastructure improvements through performance analysis and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional ICT teams including architecture, networks, product management, and project delivery.
You Will Bring
  • Significant experience in Windows Server administration within a complex enterprise environment.
  • A strong grasp of Microsoft infrastructure and virtualization (particularly VMware).
  • Proven ability to automate and streamline operations using scripting tools such as PowerShell or VBScript.
  • High-level experience with core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Expertise with MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager), software deployment (MSI/MSIX), and update management.
  • Experience configuring application control tools – Windows Defender Application Control preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
