Role

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for designing and managing robust network gateway infrastructures? This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting digital services by leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills.

Your duties will include:

  • Designing, evaluating, and implementing infrastructure to meet future demands.
  • Providing expert technical support for project builds, testing, and solution deployment.
  • Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including design and implementation plans.
  • Participating in change management processes and assessing configuration impacts.
  • Managing the operation of backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Collaborating with agencies and service providers to enhance service delivery capabilities.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • At least five years of experience in designing, managing, and maintaining internet gateway or large-scale data centre networking environments.
  • Proficiency in F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
  • Expertise in Cisco Data Centre technologies, including ACI, routers, and Nexus switches.
  • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions.
  • Experience in designing and integrating hybrid and public cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Australian Government information security policies, including the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
