Role Description

Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. The Senior Gateway Engineer uses their in-depth knowledge of specific ICT Platforms to provide expert advice on the management and maintenance of those platforms. They work closely with key third party suppliers to ensure the provision of a robust gateway infrastructure capability for the business, and liaise with architecture and shared services areas to ensure the security of the day-to-day technical operations. Senior Gateway Engineers exercise a considerable degree of independence, with decision-making substantially dependent on their high-level judgement and consideration of wider agency implications, with work being performed under the general guidance of senior staff.

This is a full-time remote role for an Infrastructure Engineer based in Canberra, ACT.

Work type: Contract Based, Hybrid work arrangments

Cyber Security Analyst at Techne IT Consulting. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for tasks such as application security, malware analysis, network security, and utilizing analytical skills to assess and enhance cyber defenses.

Skills Needed:


• Cisco Data centre technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers, nexus switches, routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions
• VPN technologies, email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions.
