Your New Role

Hybrid or remote full-time, fixed-term role for 60 hours per fortnight from September 2025 until June 2026. Your new role can be worked from any location in Australia.

  • Champion Organisational Vision: Advocate for Play Matters Australia's purpose, strategy, and values across all service delivery initiatives.
  • Lead with Purpose: Model leadership aligned with PMA's values and leadership strategy to inspire and guide teams.
  • Guide Risk Management: Provide expert advice to Service Delivery Managers on identifying and mitigating organisational and service delivery risks.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and support opportunities for innovation and enhancement across service delivery portfolios.
  • Support Strategic Development: Contribute to the development of tenders, grant submissions, and program resources that reflect best practice.
  • Facilitate Communities of Practice: Lead collaborative learning and knowledge-sharing initiatives across service delivery teams.
  • Ensure Program Quality: Monitor program implementation to ensure alignment with outcomes, manuals, and quality frameworks.
  • Advance Research and Evaluation: Guide evidence-based practices, including robust data collection and evaluation methodologies.
  • Maintain Compliance and Reporting: Complete administrative tasks and ensure adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote Workplace Safety: Foster a safe and healthy work environment in line with WH&S legislation and organisational culture.

Your Skills Profile
  • Tertiary qualification at degree level in community development, human services, education, social sciences, psychology or a related discipline, and/or extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in program development, including the creation of practice guides and evaluation frameworks.
  • Proven ability to map programs and services to ensure alignment with strategic and operational goals.
  • Experience using project planning tools and computer software relevant to program management.
  • Eligibility to hold a valid Working with Children Check for the state you will be working in (mandatory).
  • Current C-class driver's licence.
