Locations: Across Brisbane, Logan & Northern Gold Coast

Position: Casual (up to 38 hours per week)

Join the incredible team at Carers Collective as a passionate and dedicated Support Worker, providing life-changing care for participants across Brisbane.

In this rewarding role, you'll deliver tailored support in our participants' homes, helping them live with independence and dignity—every shift is a chance to make a real difference

We have plenty of ongoing shifts across the Brisbane region (and some Gold Coast work) for Active Overnights, Inactive sleepovers and the opportunity to choose from 20 available shifts per week on our job board.

What does a typical shift look like?

Each day is unique, depending on the needs of our participants. Tasks may include:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Preparing meals and supporting participants with nutrition needs.
  • Providing light housekeeping, laundry, and other domestic assistance.
  • Supporting participants to achieve their goals for independence and daily living.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to participants, engaging them in social and recreational activities
  • Manual Handling
  • Some behaviour supports (due to acquired injuries)
  • Documenting care provided in line with company policies and industry standards.

What we're looking for:

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, and NDIS Orientation Certificate
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services desirable
  • Manual Handling skills (and no underlying conditions to limit manual handling)
  • Skilled at developing strong interpersonal connections that create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
  • First Aid/CPR
  • A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
  • Availability over Christmas/New Year period
