About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our established international project management and modular construction company. This pivotal role will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and provide strong support to management with accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable
- Oversee payroll, BAS, GST, and compliance reporting
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and stakeholders
- Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes
- Provide financial insights to support project planning and business decisions
- Oversee onboarding of new staff throughout our international locations.
- Set up internal procurement systems for rapidly expanding business.
About You
- Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or Senior Accountant within the property construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction-specific accounting, contracts, and compliance
- Excellent skills in MYOB, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills and ability to liaise confidently with management and external parties
