About the role

Looking for a rewarding and flexible career in the aged and disability care sector? Pearl Home Care is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our dynamic team in Elizabeth, South Australia. This casual role will see you provide compassionate in-home care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them live independently and with dignity.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing and grooming
  2. Providing domestic support including light cleaning, meal preparation and running errands
  3. Engaging clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their wellbeing
  4. Monitoring clients' health and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team
  5. Following individualised care plans to ensure the highest standards of service delivery
  6. Working collaboratively with our dedicated nursing and allied health professionals

What we're looking for

  1. A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and people with disabilities
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  4. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  5. A current First Aid certificate and Police Check
  6. Prior experience in aged care, disability support or a similar role is highly desirable
