Disability To Ability SA are seeking Disability Support Workers to provide person centred support for a individuals living independently in Adelaide and surrounding suburbs. We are looking for applicants who have experience providing support for clients with Spinal Cord and Acquired Brain Injuries or have experience working with high and complex care clients and / or behaviour management.

**MUST BE ABLE TO HELP CLIENTS WITH MEDICATION / HAVE MEDICATION TRAINING**

**Duties**:

- 24/7 Shift Opportunities
- Manual Handling
- Personal Care
- Medication Administration
- Community Engagement and Social Support
- Domestic Assistance

**About you**:

- Current Certificate III or equivalent is essential
- Current DCSI (DSES) or NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certification
- Current Mental Health First Aid or willing to obtain
- Must have unrestricted SA Driver's License
- Must be compliant with South Australian Government current Covid-19 vaccination policies\
- Must have Medication Training
- must be available outside of school hours
- Must speak good English
- Must be available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Elizabeth SA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Medication Certificate and able to give medication (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
