The Opportunity:

The Systems, Support and Reporting team within the ICT, Data and Systems Branch is seeking proactive and collaborative APS4 officers to join our team.

The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is seeking candidates for multiple positions in the Systems, Support and Reporting Section (SSR) which is part of the ICT, Data and Systems Branch. The Section provides Agency-wide support for our grants administration systems, undertakes grants data reporting, and supports data capability uplift across the agency.

As an APS4 Systems, Support and Reporting Officer, you will:

  • provide responsive and culturally competent support to internal stakeholders via the NIAA Front Door Helpdesk
  • assist with administrative and operational tasks including data reporting, system support, and process improvement
  • apply established policies, procedures, and legislation to ensure consistent and compliant service delivery
  • work collaboratively with team members to manage tasks, resolve issues, and contribute to a positive team culture
  • support small-scale projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance ICT services and grant system performance.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build foundational skills in ICT service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and public sector operations.

Eligibility:

  • To be eligible for this position you must be an Australian Citizen.
  • The occupant must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected) level security clearance, or hold a current security clearance of an appropriate level.
  • The successful candidate will be required to be assessed through our pre-employment screening checks, such as an Australian Criminal History Check
