About ADCG:
ADCG Pty Ltd, trading as the Australian Defence Consultancy Group, was established in 2009 to provide strategic and operational level services to Defence organisations and Defence industry across Australia. The refresh of the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) in May 2019 provided the opportunity for ADCG to be one of the first Australian Small Medium enterprises (SME) to gain DISP Accreditation and to sponsor individuals to gain Government and Defence Security Clearances at Baseline, Secret (NV1) and Top Secret (NV2) levels. ADCG has now sponsored over 5,000 security clearances, which include individuals, around 300+ Small Medium Enterprises/Businesses and multiple global corporations who rely on our expertise to manage their security compliance.
The Opportunity:
ADCG is expanding and seeking a proactive, detail-oriented
Finance & Business Support Officer
to join our growing team. This dual-focused role will support both the
Finance & Commercial Manager
in delivering efficient daily financial operations to the company, as well as the
Manager of ADCG Recruiting
in establishing and supporting our Recruiting line of business.
This is a full-time (38-hour/week) role, ideally based in Canberra but open to all locations in Australia.
As a key member of our business support team, you will assist with finance administration and reporting, CRM and data maintenance, and recruitment support activities. You'll play an integral role in developing processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between business units including Finance, HR, and Marketing.
Your day-to-day duties will include issuing and processing invoices, maintaining accurate client and financial records, supporting the onboarding of staff and clients, and support with establishing and tracking recruitment projects. You'll also contribute to developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), preparing performance and compliance reports, and ensuring high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
Key Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years' experience in finance and/or business administration is ideal but not required
- Prior experience in recruiting, HR or professional services will be highly regarded but is not required
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Experience using Xero, MS Office and CRM applications
- Customer oriented, supporting both individual and corporate clients
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Certificate IV or higher in Finance, Business Administration or HR is preferred but not required
