**Eligibility**

**Division Responsibilities**
Department’s financial management framework; coordinating the delivery of the Portfolio
Budget and MYEFO strategies; and preparing the Department’s key (PGPA) planning and
reporting documents. In addition, FMD oversees the portfolio regulatory framework,
coordinates deregulation activities; supports the Department’s grant administration and
engagement with the Streamlining Government Grants Administration program; and
manages the Department’s key transactional corporate services, along with property and
facilities management activities. In practice, FMD is the steward of the Department’s
financial, risk and performance reporting environment, which collectively identifies and
contributes to achieving Health outcomes.
**Branch Responsibilities**
The Streamlining Grants Branch supports the Department to effectively implement and
manage grant arrangements in accordance with relevant legislation. In this process, the
Branch provides a coordination and support base for grant management across the
Department, ensuring consistency with whole of Government policies. The Branch pursues
continuous improvement and efficiencies in grant administration through collaboration with
policy divisions.
It manages the relationship and grants work program with the Community and Business
Grants Hubs and the NHMRC. The Branch is committed to improving the grant tools,
processes, and systems to improve customer experience while also working to continuously
enhance the level of executive confidence in grant program design and delivery.
**Section Responsibilities**
The Grant Analytics, Systems and Reporting Section is responsible for:
- Delivery of Grant Analytics data tools (Qlik Dashboards) and systems (O365 Grant
Pipeline Manager, Expiring Grants Management System).
- Business design and enhancement for new Grant Analytics views
- Maintain and update data analytical tools
- Business engagement, data tool adoption and related support
- Legislative reporting
- Respond to executive grant data enquiries
- Enabling change management through the development of branch data systems and
service catalogues to measures and monitor branch workload/throughput
**Key Responsibilities**
- Considering policy or SES client requirements and feedback to build, refine grant
analytics dashboards and/or QVDs and, with departmental records management
standards, prepare and record technical documentation for solutions.
- Within the context of grants management, implement policy area or SES requirements
for data modelling, data extraction from the EDW and other sources, dashboard and
analytical visualisation development, and report development. This extends to building
QVDs, N print reports and documention and recording of these solutions.
- Using grant analytics dashboards and systems to extract data and/or explore trends to
inform executive briefings (e.g. grant program, grant activity or payment milestone
volumes).
- Coordinate, curate and validate data input from multiple sources to the legislative
reporting process for Murray and Minchin Senate Order grant listings to produce the
report listings.***
- Provide customer support (e.g. respond to data/technical queries using Qlik, action user
requests for access to grant digital tools in O365), and escalate to, or liaise with, EL1 or
EL2 for enterprise and complex issues. This may also include liaison with the IT division.***
- Action manual data extractions arising from project deliverables (e.g. daily extract data
file for Qlik load for O365 SharePoint Grant Pipeline Manager) until system solutions are
implemented.
