What you'll doAs our System and Business Improvement Officer, you'll be instrumental in enhancing the systems that power our Housing and Asset Management services, ensuring they are reliable, user-friendly and aligned to real-world needs.
In this dynamic role, you'll guide system users, coordinate updates and collaborate with stakeholders to drive lasting improvements.
You'll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Providing responsive, expert support to staff using Housing Management Applications
- Helping plan and deliver new system features and enhancements
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align systems with user and service outcomes
- Keeping documentation clear, current and user-ready
- Leading and supporting user acceptance testing and issue resolution
- Preparing regular progress reports highlighting milestones and risks
- Proactively solving problems and developing contingency plans before they escalate
A Day in the Life: System and Business Improvement Officer at Believe Housing Australia
Start your day by reviewing CX issue tickets and reach out to staff to understand their Cx issues, working through how to resolve them.
Troubleshoot quick fixes where possible and dig deeper into more complex challenges to uncover lasting solutions.
Work with internal IT teams regarding requirements for our system and ongoing needs. Liaise with our vendor to resolve technical issues and to continue shaping the system to meet our business needs..
You'll collaborate with the Business Improvements team to enhance the working experience for the entire Believe Housing team.
By enabling smoother workflows and more efficient tools, you'll empower frontline teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused support to those in our community who need it most.

What you'll bringTo thrive in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience supporting or managing enterprise-level software applications
- A track record of coordinating or delivering successful projects
- Strong skills in system configuration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Confident communication and a customer-first mindset
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
We would also love you to have:
- Knowledge of social or affordable housing
- Background in property management or community services
- Familiarity with change management and user training approaches
