About This Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Officer, Enrichment Programs to support the delivery of student enrichment programs such as the Summer and Winter Research Programs and Employability Award. This role will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure smooth operations and foster positive experiences for students and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

Administration and Information Provision

  • Provide day to day administrative support, including assisting with student promotion, application processing, and tracking student progress. You will also manage inquiries from a shared inbox, phone, and in person, providing accurate and timely information.

Engagement and Event Support

  • Contribute to the successful delivery of events through planning and logistical support. This includes developing engaging content for print and digital materials and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to track satisfaction.

Systems and Processes

  • Maintain accurate records in university systems related to program delivery and contribute to the continuous improvement of team systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Please note travel to other UQ campuses will be required to facilitate and attend events.

About You
  • Degree/qualifications with relevant experience or equivalent extensive administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering events, with effective organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy, dynamic environment.

You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
