What We Are Looking For
About the Team
The Weapons and Ammunition (WA) Team are responsible for the delivery of a number of Australian Defence projects, particularly the Multi Ammunition Softkill System (MASS) program for the Australian Navy, Armour for the Land400Ph2 and Heavy Weapons Carrier Programs amongst others. The WA Team includes project management and engineering capabilities and includes a number of people across the business in operations and supporting roles.
About The Role
The Program Officer is a multi-faceted role supporting the Weapons and Munitions Program Management team. The Program officer maintains the cadence of reporting and coordination of program / project deliverables and ensures consistency across projects in the coordination of key events, monitoring and reporting of risks, issues and opportunities. The candidate should have a high level of office suite software skills, and excellent written communication. This is a developmental role for a talented professional looking for an opportunity to support the management of a number of defence projects. The program officer will have the opportunity to project manage emerging projects within the business unit.

- Proficient in MS Office (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio).
- Excellent communication skills, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with contract management (customer and subcontractor).
- Eligibility to obtain an NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
