We're on the lookout for a
Junior Designer
to join our small, award winning team. This role is perfect for someone with some real-world design experience under their belt (ideally agency) who's ready to grow their craft in a hands-on environment. You'll be working closely with senior creatives and strategists, contributing to projects across advertising, brand development, brand comms and digital design.

This is an opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive team while being part of the growth of our agency and collaborating on work that's designed to stand out and make an impact.

Rate:
TBC (dependent on experience)

The agency

Type + Pixel is a small-but-perfectly-formed creative studio specialising in brand and digital. It was founded in 2017 by two former big agency heads who wanted to create a different kind of agency: one staffed almost exclusively by experienced creatives and strategists who who share our belief that amazing work starts, not with a project brief, but with a deep understanding of our clients' brands.

We design brands and experiences that put the audience first. We promote honest, collaborative relationships with our clients. And we're committed to doing things differently: we produce great work without the agency sweatshop mentality.

What you'll do

  • Contribute design ideas for B2B and B2C campaigns
  • Design in-store point-of-sale materials and print collateral
  • Support artworking and preparing files for production
  • Help maintain brand consistency across client work
  • Collaborate with senior designers and strategists
  • Communicate clearly with the team and pitch in where needed

What we're looking for

  • 1–2 years of design experience (agency experience is a plus but not essential)
  • A folio that shows a mix of creative thinking and solid design execution
  • Some exposure to advertising, retail design, or print production
  • A willingness to learn and take on feedback
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • A proactive, positive attitude with an interest in design and strategy
  • A collaborative spirit—you'll thrive in a small team environment
