Short Description:
Informatica MDM & DQ Consultant

Salary Range: AUD Total Gross

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining
    Informatica MDM Hub
    ,
    IDD
    , and
    match/merge rules
    .
  • Support
    data profiling, cleansing, and standardization
    using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot
    MDM workflows and DQ jobs
    .
  • Participate in
    data quality assessments
    and help define business rules.
  • Collaborate with data stewards and business users to resolve data issues.
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and support procedures.
  • Help implement
    data governance policies
    and metadata management practices.
  • Provide
    L1/L2 support
    for MDM and DQ components in production environments.

Skill / Competencies / Experience:

ESSENTIAL

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
    , Information Systems, or related field
    .
  • Hands on experience with
    Informatica MDM and IDQ
    .
  • Basic understanding of
    data governance, data modeling, and data integration
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SQL
    and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with
    ETL concepts
    , REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Good communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to
    Informatica Axon
    ,
    Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)
    .
  • Experience with
    data stewardship workflows
    and
    survivorship rules
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Agile methodologies
    and tools like JIRA or ServiceNow
