Informatica MDM & DQ Consultant

Salary Range: 108571 - 119893 AUD Total Gross

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Roles and Responsibilities

- Assist in configuring and maintaining Informatica MDM Hub, IDD, and match/merge rules.

- Support data profiling, cleansing, and standardization using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

- Monitor and troubleshoot MDM workflows and DQ jobs.

- Participate in data quality assessments and help define business rules.

- Collaborate with data stewards and business users to resolve data issues.

- Document technical processes, configurations, and support procedures.

- Help implement data governance policies and metadata management practices.

- Provide L1/L2 support for MDM and DQ components in production environments.

Skill / Competencies / Experience

ESSENTIAL

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

- Hands on experience with Informatica MDM and IDQ.

- Basic understanding of data governance, data modeling, and data integration.

- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

- Familiarity with ETL concepts, REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

- Good communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Informatica Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).

- Experience with data stewardship workflows and survivorship rules.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or ServiceNow.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
