About The Role
Our QCoal Northern Hub Coal Project is situated 10km south of Collinsville in the Bowen Basin.

Thiess is seeking two
Trade Assistants
for permanent employment opportunity working on our QCoal open-cut coal mining project. As our next Trade Assistant, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

In this role you will:

• Support tradespeople with workshop tasks and repairs
• Assist store personnel with inventory & warehouse duties
• Perform general site maintenance, including mowing/spraying/repairs
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
• Bring a positive, can-do attitude with a strong focus on safety
• General workshop duties as required

About You
To be considered for these opportunities you are required to have:

• Prior experience working as a Trade Assist on a mine site or construction industry (highly regarded)
• HR driver's licence preferable
• A commitment to a positive safety culture
• Be committed to our principles of Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & Delivery

Desirable Qualifications

• Forklift - High Risk
• Current Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
