I am currently partnered with a Victorian State Government client who are seeking a Customer Experience Officer to join their evolving team in a temporary position.

Your new role

As a Customer Experience Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries across multiple channels including phone, live chat, portal, and face-to-face. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless customer experience by managing accounts, processing payments, and facilitating service connections.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Handling inbound enquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintaining accurate customer account data and property details
  • Resolving issues within delegation or escalating appropriately
  • Providing advice on water and wastewater connections
  • Supporting telecommunications and visitor coordination
  • Upholding safety and compliance standards across all interactions

What you'll need to succeed

You're a customer-centric professional with a passion for service excellence and a knack for problem-solving. You thrive in a team-based environment and bring strong interpersonal and time-management skills to the table To be successful, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience in a contact centre or customer service role
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Business (highly regarded)
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence
