Your Way Home Support proudly serves the Ipswich community.  We're a passionate, close team dedicated to providing high-quality care for individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges.  We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and flexible support workers who are committed to making a genuine difference in people's lives.

What You'll Do

  • Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, continence care, and mealtime assistance
  • Assist with household tasks and daily routines
  • Offer social and emotional support to participants
  • Promote independence at home and in the community
  • Transport participants to appointments, activities, and events
  • Deliver therapy supports under the guidance of allied health professionals
  • Contribute to the regular review and updating of support plans

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card
  • Current Police Check
  • Open Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Strong availability for mornings, afternoons and evenings
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Must have an ABN.

Desirable:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) or related qualifications
  • Experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities and mental health conditions
  • Familiarity with person-centred active support environments

What We Offer

This position is a short-term contract of 6 weeks. After completion of the initial contract a further contact may be entered.  This position consists of 2 shifts per day and availability for both shifts is essential.  The shift times are from 7:50- 12:50 and 17:00 – 20:00 and are part of a 7-day roster.
