The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Programs Coordinator to lead and manage the delivery of our Adult and Children's programs in Townsville. You'll play a critical role on our leadership team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, strong team performance, and meaningful participant outcomes.

This is a dynamic and hands-on role with responsibility for coordinating day-to-day program operations, managing and developing staff, driving innovation, and ensuring compliance with NDIS and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for adult and children's program delivery
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of support staff
  • Ensure all programs align with participant NDIS goals and person-centred care practices
  • Oversee program design, rosters, and resources to meet service needs and compliance
  • Manage onboarding and intake processes for new participants
  • Identify and act on opportunities for program growth and development
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes
  • Review program performance, including budgets, reporting, incidents, and participant feedback
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement

About You

You are a motivated, strategic, and people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring operational experience and a genuine passion for improving lives through community-based programs.

Essential:

  • Experience in program coordination, education, social work, community services, or related fields
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise teams effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Current Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening) & Blue Card (Working with Children)
  • Unrestricted QLD Driver's Licence
  • Sound knowledge of the NDIS

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience working within NDIS-funded environments
  • Strong administrative, reporting, and rostering skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and align service delivery with funding ratios
