We are currently seeking a 
Specialist Mine Ventilation
to join our Underground Mining team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Reporting to the 
Senior Ventilation Engineer.
  This position supports underground mining operation through ventilation designs, plus managing and monitoring ventilation systems..

This role is based at our Sunrise Dam site on an 8/6 FIFO roster. We operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.

Accountabilities:

• Design, deliver and manage systems to comply with the airborne contaminant and gas requirements for the underground mine
• Collect, measure and analyse mine ventilation data from underground
• Maintain and comply with underground mine processes and procedures
• Report performance to plans, keep management informed of any foreseeable risks or impediments to plan, and steps taken to ameliorate these risks in order to maintain sustainable operations
• Monitor and improve ventilation in the underground operation

About You

• A willingness to be part of a diverse team comprising technical and operational members.
• 5 Years experience in Underground Mine Ventilation
• Possession or eligibility for: Western Australia Ventilation Officers ticket
• Good communication skills.
• Confidence to provide input and provoke discussion.
• Enthusiastic attitude towards fulfilling key accountabilities.
• Willingness to work in an underground mine.
• C Class Driver's License.
• Full permanent working rights.
