We are looking for a keen, self motivated sales person to work as a part of a small and dynamic retail team that is focussed around natural health.

About the role

This position is strongly customer facing with an emphasis on product knowledge of vitamins, health food and supplements. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who genuinely enjoys retail - engaging with customers, maintaining beautiful displays, managing stock, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You'll work collaboratively with the business owners on goals and direction, but have the autonomy to run the store day-to-day and make confident decision on the floor.

This role is ideal for someone who is health-centric with a focus on sales, customer service and retail or business management. It would suit someone looking to develop their career in the natural health sector.

About our Business

Rosebud Health Store & Dharma Centre is a long-established natural health and spiritual wellness hub located on the Mornington Peninsula. The business is owner-operated, with the owners based on site (part-time) delivering psychic readings, wellness coaching and spiritual classes after hours.

The store's main focus is on health retail, providing high quality supplements, skincare, herbal remedies, crystals and wellness products. The retail section also includes a juice and smoothie bar with light refreshments and other offerings. In the off-season, the business operates well with a small, close-knit team of 2-3 core staff - additional team members are onboarded over the summer season.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in Sales & Customer Service is essential.

Demonstrated leadership ability - able to motivate staff, delegate tasks, and take ownership of daily operations.

A good general knowledge of supplements and herbs is required to be successful in this position - or a willingness to combine study while working.

A Certificate IV in fitness, yoga teacher training and/or nutrition will support your application.

Hours:

This is a full-time position, 5 days on, 2 days off. Your roster may include Saturdays and/or the occasional Sunday.
