The Law Society of Western Australia is the peak professional body representing the legal profession in this state. We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Manager
to lead and deliver the Society's marketing and communications strategy, enhancing brand awareness, driving membership engagement, and supporting the growth of our organisation. This is a hands-on role suited to a strategic thinker who enjoys both planning and execution — from developing high-impact campaigns to crafting compelling content and ensuring our brand continues to reflect excellence and professionalism across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase engagement with the Society's services, events, and initiatives.
  • Manage and strengthen the Society's brand identity across digital, print, and event channels.
  • Create, execute and evaluate digital campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and website content (WordPress).
  • Produce high-quality content for publications, newsletters, promotions, and CPD programs.
  • Support event and CPD marketing to maximise participation and visibility.
  • Collaborate across internal teams and with external partners to deliver coordinated and effective campaigns.
  • Analyse marketing performance, report on campaign outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.

About you

  • Minimum five years' experience in marketing management, preferably in a professional services or membership-based organisation.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (social media, email marketing, SEO, analytics).
  • Proficiency in
    WordPress, ActiveCampaign, and InDesign
    (or similar), and experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a strong eye for detail and design.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field.
