Wilson Diesel Services is seeking 2x experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our busy Tennant Creek workshop. These roles offer autonomy, responsibility and the chance to work across a wide variety of projects with strong client relationships.

What We're Offering

  • Up to $65.00 per hour casual
  • Workshop-based roles with opportunities to rotate through other projects
  • Variety of work including corporate clients, tourists, fleet vehicles, light trucks and repeat local customers
  • Flexible Rosters (2/2, 2/1, 18/10 (2x weekends at home)
  • 10 hour days

For FIFO / Non-Locals:

  • Flights provided to and from Tennant Creek ex Darwin, Katherine & Alice Springs)
  • Accommodation, Dinners usual FIFO

For Tennant Creek Locals:

  • Local living allowance
  • Annual holiday bonus – flights for you and your family once a year out of TCK
  • Roster or Monday - Friday work

About You

  • Trade qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years post-trade experience
  • Hold a current driver's licence
  • Able to provide a National Police Clearance
  • Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical (including drug & alcohol screening)
  • Autonomous and solutions-focused with a can-do attitude
  • Positive, helpful and a strong team player
  • Subcontractors welcome to apply
  • Applicants requiring visa sponsorship need not apply

About the Role

  • Service, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles
  • Work across light vehicles, light trucks and fleet servicing
  • Diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance
  • Deliver quality workmanship for repeat and new customers
