Are you an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and a background in operations or project support? We are currently seeking a Project Management Support Officer to join a dynamic Operations Unit delivering essential services across the Gold Coast. This role is ideal for someone with excellent coordination abilities, a proactive mindset, and the flexibility to manage a wide range of administrative and operational tasks.

Your new role

  • Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager and Operations team, ensuring smooth delivery of essential services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordination and maintenance of records within the Operations Unit.

  • Preparation and distribution of documentation, meeting agendas, and minutes.
  • Device management (mobile phones, iPads, laptops) and IT support coordination.
  • Security management (keys, remotes, cameras) and health & safety initiatives.
  • Ordering and distribution of uniforms, safety boots, and stationery.
  • Coordination of events, depot maintenance, and communications to staff.
  • Support with HR-related tasks such as excess leave monitoring and ID card management.
  • Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in administration or project support, ideally within an operational or infrastructure environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A current driving licence is essential.
