We now have a position available for a Key Account Manager to join our National Team.

This is a rewarding and challenging position best suited to an individual with proven experience within the pharmacy sector as many of your customers are in this space. You must have previously worked as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager or Sales Manager or related role.

About the role:

Ultimately this is a sales role and your key focus will be to maintain and grow the sales within your portfolio.

Calendar control will be essential as you ensure you are maintaining regular contact with all key stakeholders along with meeting some regular critical deadlines. You will be constantly working to maintain existing relationships and develop new ones, seeking leads and opportunities to grow the business organically and via non-organic methods.

You will also invest significantly in conducting analysis of sales and stock levels, ensuring supply targets within your customer base are achieved within deadlines.

And you will be responsible for oversight of our two Montblanc boutiques in Perth and Brisbane, providing leadership and management to the boutique managers and their teams.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside our highly successful and absolutely fabulous sales and account management team, leaning on their extensive knowledge of the industry and our portfolios. And you will have support from our Operations, Warehouse and Marketing teams.

Your challenging and rewarding days will see you:

  • Liaising constantly with your key stakeholders to ensure stock requirements are ordered correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Conducting activities to seek out opportunities to increase sales and introduce new products or ranges across your territory.
  • Managing your forecasts and budgets for sales and staffing costs
  • Recruiting, coaching and managing your team
  • Visiting local locations with some interstate visits required, and in order to check and install displays, monitor stock levels and ensure everything is within company and brand guidelines
  • Working with our National and State teams to ensure smooth daily functionality across all sites

We know you are driven and outcome focused, a people person who loves to lead a team to success, and that you:

  • Can demonstrate experience in Key Account Management or related roles.
  • It is highly preferable that you have prior experience within the pharmacy or related industry.
  • Love supervising, training and developing your team members and can show us how you do it.
  • Have worked with independent, chain and franchise groups and understand the challenges and opportunities of this specific network of distribution.
  • Focus on outcomes and thrive when inspiring and motivating your teams.
  • Have a solid understanding of financials and can manage your budgets, particularly those relating to staffing costs and sales results
  • Can drive results and have an autonomous, "can-do" and proactive attitude.

To be successful in this position, you do need to be able to jump in feet first so you must have similar work experience, have huge attention to detail, be logical and open minded and be confident in reaching out to your colleagues for support and guidance.

Because of the nature of this role it is ideal if you have your own vehicle and are licensed to drive within Australia as there may be some requirements to travel throughout greater Sydney and interstate from time to time.

You will be based in our head office at Banksmeadow on average 3 days per week so please check this location is ok for you.
