Here's your new opportunity:

We are excited to be growing our Software Development team Reporting to our Head of Software Engineering and working with our Lead Mobile App Developer on a day-to-day basis, you will assist with the support and development of our new native Android and iOS mobile applications.

You will be employed as a permanent full time employee of our company.  The work is to be carried out in our office, with the exception of working from home each Friday.

  • Assist in supporting and maintaining our Android and iOS native mobile applications
  • Support the development team by troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software issues
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify objectives
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of our lead mobile app developer
  • Participate and assist with testing of mobile applications, identifying and resolving bugs, and ensuring the application is stable and functional prior to deployment
  • Work in an Agile team environment, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates

This opportunity would suit a recent graduate or somebody early in their software development career.  We're looking for somebody that's hungry and motivated, keen to work across mobile platforms and wants to learn and develop their mobile application programming skills.

What you'll bring to the role:

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Basic understanding and proficiency in Kotlin/Android Studio and/or Swift/iOS
  • Experience with version control systems like Git is advantageous.
  • GitHub project examples or Open-Source project contributions (highly regarded)
