As Business Development Manager – Rail and Transport (Queensland), you will play a pivotal role in driving the front-end growth of the business.
This is a relationship-led position focused on identifying opportunities, engaging key clients, and progressing projects through the Expression of Interest (EOI) and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phases before handover to the national bid and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with government agencies, transport authorities, and key industry stakeholders.

- Contribute to strategic planning and market intelligence to guide investment and project pipeline decisions.
About You
You are a commercially astute and relationship-focused business developer with deep connections in the Queensland transport and infrastructure sector. You understand how to build trust, anticipate client needs, and position major contractors early in the project lifecycle. Ideally, you bring:
- Proven experience in business development, precontracts, or strategy roles within Tier 1 or major mid-tier contractors.
- Strong knowledge of Queensland rail, road, or transport infrastructure markets.
- A track record of identifying and converting opportunities through to EOI or ECI stage.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to represent a global brand at executive level.
Why Join
This is an opportunity to join a global EPC contractor with genuine financial strength, proven delivery capability, and a bold commitment to investing in and funding new infrastructure projects across Australia.
