The Office of the CIO (OCIO) is a multi-disciplinary team that drives operational ecellence by consistently communicating, planning, monitoring and evaluating performance for Technology for ING Australia.
Reporting to the Commercial contract manager you'll be responsible for driving the technology procurement activities to deliver value, associated risk and governance activities. You will also involve optimizing the technology contracting landscape to ensure a healthier and more efficient ecosystem.

What you'll do …
- Spearhead end-to-end procurement processes to align vendor partnerships with strategic technology goals.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage high-impact commercial contracts with precision and compliance.
- Oversee contract lifecycles—driving renewals, mitigating risks, and ensuring performance ecellence.
- Lead governance initiatives, including DORA compliance, risk assessments, and eit strategies.
- Deliver financial insights to optimize contract value, budgeting, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and streamline contract management systems for operational agility.
What we're looking for…
- Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Business, Law, IT or related fields (or equivalent eperience).
- Proven eperience in procurement and contract management within banking, financial services, or a technology-driven commercial environment.
- Strong grasp of commercial contract structures, with hands-on eperience in contract lifecycle management and governance best practices.
- Eceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot contractual risks, inconsistencies, and compliance gaps.
- Foundational understanding of risk management and financial principles, with the ability to interpret and apply financial data in a contractual contet.
- Strategic mindset paired with sharp commercial acumen and the agility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and contributing to a high-performing team.
