Role Description

This is a full-time role as the Head of Environmental and Open Space at 18fifty3 Group. The Head of Environmental and Open Space is responsible for developing and implementing environmental policies, managing open space projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and conducting audits. The role is hybrid, allowing for some work from home, but primarily based in Canberra.

Qualifications

  • Experience in environmental assessments, reporting, biodiversity, carbon farming or nature repair
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, similar degree or related field
  • Experience in the public or private sector with a focus on environmental and open space projects
