Specialised Management Group is seeking a
qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team on major healthcare, construction, and data centre projects in Melbourne.

Melbourne, VIC | Full-time, ongoing | $80,000–$95,000 + super

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Oversee and coordinate the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and services.

·      Contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment to improve efficiency and reliability.

·      Review engineering designs and technical specifications prepared by consultants to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and project requirements.

·      Conduct commissioning, validation, and performance testing of mechanical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.

·      Prepare technical documentation, reports, and compliance records.

·      Investigate and resolve mechanical issues during construction and operational phases.

·      Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to specification.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

·      Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

·      Minimum 2+ years of relevant post-graduate mechanical engineering experience in construction, building services, or infrastructure projects.

·      Strong understanding of mechanical systems and Australian Standards.

·      Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.

·      Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
