About the role

This is a part-time role located in Dubbo. As a Customer Service Representative and Kitchen Team Support, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive experience and providing friendly, efficient assistance. You will also play a key role in supporting the kitchen team at Farmers Bakehouse.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional customer service, answering incoming calls from customers, and resolving inquiries

  • Greeting and assisting customers in person, handling sales, orders and payments

  • Following the instructions, identifying the priority tasks, and being cooperative to the team is required

  • Providing support to the kitchen team, including order processing, inventory management and general duties

  • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and sanitize kitchen equipment, and work surfaces.

  • Restocking cool rooms, kitchen supplies, product presentation and maintaining clean environment.

  • Upholding exceptional customer service standards

What we're looking for

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, professional and customer-focused approach

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the food or hospitality industry

  • A keen interest in the food industry and a passion for delivering high-quality products and services

  • Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including afternoons and weekends as required

  • Early start is required
